David Patrick Kelly will appear in the third season with many of the original cast of David Lynch’s cult series “Twin Peaks.”
Kelly, known as being a “compact, feisty and fierce character actor” was born in Detroit, Michigan. His breakout role happened in 1979 when he played the devious leader of the leather-clad gang “The Rogues” in Walter Hill’s controversial New York City gang film The Warriors.
He locked horns with Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte in Walter Hill’s fast-paced 48 Hrs. (1982), was dropped over a cliff by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the violent Commando (1985), was a member of a trio of killers after Harry Dean Stanton in David Lynch’s’ Wild at Heart (1990), and played, T Bird, the leader of a gang of arsonist murderers in The Crow (1994).
In the Twin Peaks series Kelly plays Jeremy “Jerry” Horne, the playboy brother of Ben Horne and the uncle of Audrey and Johnny. He is his brother’s right-hand-man and emissary, traveling around the world to act in Ben’s place for his international business dealings. David Lynch created the character of Jerry Horne specifically for Kelly
Although David Lynch and Mark Frost are holding their cards close to their chest when it comes to the upcomingreboot, Showtime has confirmed it will air sometime this year after being pushed out of 2016.
