UPDATE: Dtonio Cheatham’s ‘Junior’ smashes 100,000 views–shows no signs of slowing down

In little more than one week,  filmmaker Dtonio Cheatham’s anti-bullying short “Junior” has received over 100,000 views.  And it shows no signs of slowing down.

Posted on September 8, 2018, this youtube video has had close to an average 9,000 viewers a day,.  With 3 thousand people giving it a solid thumbs up and 400 commenting their support, “Junior” is quickly connecting with an audience as people relate to the film’s main character.  As word spreads, the numbers continue to grow.

Starring D’Bless Robinson as Junior,  Flexx Live as Dontae, Gwendolyn Jackson as Naima and Kevyn Hardiman as Duke, Junior was written and directed by Dtonio Cheatham.

This fifteen-minute crowd pleaser is the story about a young man battling with depression and the stress of being bullied by other boys in the neighborhood. With no one to turn to, he is forced to go to extreme measures to be at peace with himself. This film tells the story solely from the victim’s point of view.
