Filmmaker/instructor Robert Joseph Butler has never been shy about making his politics known. Nor should he be. He is a staunch Libertarian. He actively promoted voting for Gary Johnson in the 2016 Presidential Election. So it is only fitting that the film project he has been working on these past two years, “Love Immortal” should premiere at the 9th Annual Anthem Film Festival in Las Vegas, NV, July 17-20.
Although perhaps a loose fit for a film festival which normally promotes and presents films which are all about Libertarian ideals–the idea that this is a loose fit can only be guessed as the film has not yet been shared– it was accepted by this film festival, which is to Butler’s credit. Perhaps it is.
Excited he announced the acceptance of his film, ” After two years being on this project, it was actually in May of 2017 where I completed the early drafts of what started as a short film, quickly developed into a feature. For resources and capital reasons it ended taking a year to shoot this. Now two years later we just got accepted to our very first festival that we submitted to. Love Immortal has been chosen as an Official Selection for the 9th Annual Anthem Film Festival in Las Vegas, NV.”
“Love Immortal” will screen on July 19th at 10:00 PM at the 9th Annual Anthem Film Festival in Las Vegas, NV.
“Love Immortal” presents in three chapters three generations of vampire women that find their lives put into jeopardy by their environmental and economic surroundings.
