LANSING, Mich. – Oct. 12, 2020 – PRLog — Lana Wood has been a TV and film mainstay in Hollywood (along with her late elder sister, Natalie Wood) since her debut as a child actor opposite John Wayne in ‘The Searchers.’
And throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Wood, who has more than 20 film credits and 300 TV credits to her filmography, has played opposite some of Hollywood’s iconic stars and iconic productions.
From guest starring roles on the likes of ‘Bonanza’ (Michael Landon), ‘Starsky & Hutch’ (Paul Michael Glaser, David Soul), ‘Fantasy Island’ (Ricardo Montalban) and many of Hollywood’s most beloved TV series,’ to a memorable turn as ‘Plenty O’ Toole’ opposite Sean Connery (as James Bond) in ‘Diamonds Are Forever,’ Ms. Wood returns for Collective Development Incorporated’s next production, ‘Best Years Gone.’
Set to film in late Oct. into Nov. in the Jackson (Mich.) area (with all Covid-19 preventative measures in place), the ‘Best Years Gone’ dramedy starring DJ Perry and Erika Hoveland – with Shane Hagedorn returning to the director’s chair – marks Ms. Wood’s third turn with CDI (‘Bestseller,’ ‘Wild Faith’).
And audiences will get a kick out of Ms. (Back)Wood’s portrayal of ‘Lizzy,’ who along with her sidekick, ‘Edith,’ confront ‘the trespassing Gil,’ (DJ Perry) – who is on the run from the law – in no uncertain terms.

‘Best Years Gone’ was adapted for the screen by Mr. Perry from the novel, ‘Hope from Heaven’ by Michigan-based author Karl Manke.
