The official poster for the Buffalo, New York-based crime TV series has dropped.  “For Nothing” has it all.
Undercover agents, cops, and politicians close to the Ciancetta Crime family of Buffalo, NY.  Based upon the book of the same name, from an author who was raised in the streets of Buffalo, and you have the makings of a cop series that is all too real. You can now add to the roster of veteran talent a young actor that many in the Michigan film community may recognize.  His name is Brian Heintz.

Heintz was born in Dearborn Heights, Michigan,  an almost dead shot across the bridge west of the Queen City, Buffalo, New York,  Inspired by the works of Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino, and a genuine admiration for the work of Leonardo DiCaprio, with a celebrity crush on Scarlett Johansson, he attended film school and afterward decided to pursue acting.

With a remarkable resemblance in look and build to actor Vin Diesel,  he served as a body stand-in in the movie “Fast and Furious 8 The Fate of the Furious.”  said Heintz “What an amazing experience!  As a stand-in for Vin Diesel for a scene and to see what goes on during a huge production like that literally blew me away. ”

“I guess that motivated me back then, I wanted to be on a huge set like that. I love meeting different people that love the art of filmmaking and I learn from every production I’ve ever been on which motivates me for the next one. ”

In “For Nothing” Heintz appears on page one of the IMDb page for this production as credited actor, sorted by IMDB Starmeter, and will appear as Bruno alongside such veterans of tough cop and gangster movies as  Michael Madsen, Daniel Baldwin, Robert Funaro, James Duval, Robert LaSardo, and Jason Faunt.  Based on the best-selling mafia novels of the same name, “For Nothing” is a dramatic crime story told through the eyes of the soldiers fighting the battles on the streets, where only the cunning and cutthroat can hope to survive.

Regarding appearing as a tough guy in this series, Heintz says, “Because of my size, look, and build,  I get a lot of action roles. It’s funny, I do get a lot of bad guy roles or cop roles (but the cop roles are usually crooked and bad lol). I have no problem with that. I’ve had friends tell me you don’t wanna get “type casted”…As long as I am a working actor, I don’t care if I get type-casted.  Just lemme do what I love to do.”

Although “For Nothing” has yet to be picked up, it is being pitched to networks, and streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon, HBO, and a few which have already shown interest,.
