Look into the face of a stranger.  What do you see?  Look into his/her deep, sad eyes.  For example, that broken person sitting on the park bench, holding a sign asking for your help. We see them every day. The streets are teeming with them. Can you piece together their story?  Have you got any idea what they experience out on the streets of the city without a roof, much less a shelter to call their own?

How long have they been on the streets?  How did they end up out there, adrift and lonely, pushing a shopping cart with their personal belongings, every earthly thing they may own ahead of them?  They appear lost. Do they have family, a friend in the world?

We call them homeless.  What do we know of them?

The short film “SEE” is now available online.

A John Wayne Bosley short film, “See” stars Jimmie Chiappelli as a soul adrift on the rough waters of life.   Alone and homeless, rejected by his wife, set apart from his family, he is forced to sleep on a park bench. Then a stranger reaches out,  invites him out for a grab a bite to eat, then pays for shelter for the night. Do you have the compassion to do the same? Are you prepared to make a difference in a stranger’s life?

Written and directed by John Wayne Bosley, with music by Tyler Michael Smith, executive-produced by John Wayne Bosley, Laura Mae, and Hayln Rose, produced by John Wayne Bosley, Tyler Smith, and Pam Wenzel, with Carla Kidd, Melynda Anderson, and Kathy Patterson, “See” stars Jimmie Chiappelli as the homeless man, Sonja Chiappelli as his wife,  Kate Wheaton as his daughter, Tyler Hamlet as the good samaritan, Sara Wheaton as the motel worker, and John Goad as the narrator.

“What an incredibly humbling experience this was. What an incredible message,” said Jimmie Chiappelli about this role.

“I spent the day on the streets with a cart for this, and it was so challenging, heartwarming, discouraging, even embarrassing, all at the same time. Thank you to everyone who was involved with this, you are amazing.”
