Roxy Starr (played by Penelope Alex) has attained legendary status as a musician playing arenas worldwide.  But she has six months to live. Before her lights go out she has one last dream.  Returning to where it all started, Kalamazoo, Michigan,  she wants to get together with her original band for one more show.

Written by Brendon Ragotsky, and directed by Phil Wurtzel,  “Raunch and Roll” stars Penelope Alex, Michael Paré, Sarah Lazar.

Phil Wurtzel’s ‘Raunch and Roll’ has been released by Green Apple Enterprises on Spectrum-Charter and Comcast/Xfinity cable TV with other carriers coming on board later this month.  It has just dropped on Amazon.

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Phil, over the last decade, has produced, directed, and written projects that have starred Oscar-nominated Seymour Cassel, Barkhad Abdm Cary Elwes, Noah Jupe, Chloe Grace Moretz, Lakeith Stanfield, Tobin Bell, Michael Pare, Penelope Ann Miller, and Shelby Young. Phil also produced My Pretty Pony written by Stephen King.
