Veteran character actor and Detroit native Vondie Curtis Hall can add another project to his already glowing resume.

For more than 40 years, he has consistently rocked an impressive array of work, from roles in Broadway musicals, movies, and TV shows to directing projects starring Tupac Shakur and Jamie Foxx to a teaching job at a prestigious Manhattan college.

Hall’s credits include more than 80 feature films and TV series, including “Coming to America,” “Die Hard 2,” Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo + Juliet” and the John Sayles drama “Passion Fish” on the big screen and “Chicago Hope” and Netflix’s “Daredevil” on the small screen.

This new project is a psychological horror film that offers a chilling portrait of overwhelming grief.  Horror is one of the countless genres that he has tackled with aplomb as a performer.

In this new project entitled  “The Night House,” Hall plays a neighbor of Rebecca Hall’s character, a recent widow who is left bereft and confused by her husband’s death and the sense that something supernatural is haunting her.
