Joel Reisig announces call for Native Americans for ‘Jack London: Son of the Wolf’–seeks authenticity

Joel Reisig has announced a another casting call for his “Jack London: Son of  the Wolf” movie.   Based upon several books and short stories by Jack London, author of “The Son of the Wolf”-a collection of stories of the Klondike-Reisig is striving for authenticity in this element of his movie.

Says Reisig,   “I need people to play members of a Native American tribe. Please reply if you are:   Native American (at least 50% and you look Native American. )”  Although Native American actors are desired, he is open to hearing from actors who are either Asian or Pacific Islander.  ” Or if you just think you can legitimately pass for Native American. ”

“I need a small tribe, so I’m looking for both genders and all ages. I do specifically need: Chief (Male. 50s or 60s);  Zirinska (18 to young 20s female, incredibly beautiful); Makwa. (young man, powerfully built. Age 18 – 30s.); Waugoosh. (young man, meak in body and mind. Age 18 – 30s); Koskoosh. (an old man, at least 70.)”

Filming in Michigan in July, the  shoot will cover four days– Thursday – Sunday (exact dates TBD)Joel Reisig does not indicate whether these are paid roles, but they are not SAG.
