Collective Development Inc.’s ‘Best Years Gone’ announces director

Collective Development Inc. their next motion picture ‘Best Years Gone’ prepares up for a spring shoot in Michigan.

The Michigan-based company CDI, has been promoting its recent slate of films released with Bridgestone Multimedia Group like The Quest Trilogy (Forty Nights, Chasing the Star and The Christ Slayer), Wild Faith and MBF: Man’s Best Friend. Audiences are anxiously awaiting the upcoming summer/fall release of the comedy/drama Lost Heart, starring Melissa Anschutz, Don Most and Victoria Jackson.

CDI has a strong reputation for staying on schedule and budget while also producing high-quality art set within strong business guidelines. CDI has pulled upon the talents of many uniquely talented directors to inspire the best from cast and crew. The newly announced film BEST YEARS GONE is no exception. Based upon the book “Hope from Heaven” by Karl Manke, DJ Perry penned the screenplay and CDI will produce with Bridgestone Multimedia Group set to distribute. CDI is pleased to announce their director on this next film is Michigan-based artist Shane Hagedorn.

Shane Hagedorn is a multi-award winning producer, writer, and actor. He started with the stage before moving into the realm of motion-picture. As a writer/director/producer he has developed two feature films and a documentary: (2008) The Model Father, a film he wrote, directed, produced, and edited; the documentary Craftsman Style (2009), and Ashes of Eden (2014). In ‘Ashes’ he served as writer, director, producer, actor, and editor.

Casting and crewing has been underway for a few months with cameras set to roll in May. Additional announcements on cast and crew will be forthcoming.
