Michigan has churned out more than a few horror movies. Here is part two of our list of scary movies that originated from the Mitten State in time for Halloween.
Here in no particular order is just a partial list of horror films shot in the Mitten State. Michigan can claim several recognizable titles that may amuse you for hours and keep you awake at night. And other films which will give you the heebie-jeebies. Some will raise chills, others will reduce you to laughter. The one thing that you may find in common among these offerings is the amount of cheese. If that is something you like with your horror, McDonald’s has nothing on us. Have fun.

If in your perusal of these and the titles offered in part one of Michigan’s Contribution to Horror Movies you encountered the name Tommy Brunswick more than once unless you are a Michigan citizen or a hard-core horror fan, you may be surprised to know that Michigan males aren’t the only ones to cast a scary image on the silver screen.
Born Thomasita V. Hatfield. in 1970, Tommy has been a prolific producer/director horror since her first production entitled Biker Zombies from Detroit (2001). Yes, this Former Chancellor at Skull House Pictures and Empress at Motor City Nightmares, has an impressive twelve credits on IMDb as a director of the ghoulish, thirteen credits as a producer of the scary, and has even appeared in six pictures to her credit. Born in Detroit, she called Livonia, Michigan home before, according to sources moving to LA where she is now living with her husband Todd Brunswick tto whom she has been married since 1997.
