Based on a true story by Lisa “Ms LB” Brown, “He Played Me”is an erotic thriller about how lust, love, lies, and sex can lead you down a dark path full of passion, jealousy, hate, betrayals, and ultimately your demise.

Yazmin (played by Shelby Leigh) has been in a sexless, loveless marriage for the past two years.  Content, but not happy,  she is open to being swept off her feet by charming and powerful Jai. He is everything she desires in a man. He is charming, handsome,  with just the right amount of street swag. Quickly, she comes to realize that everything that glitters is not gold.

Nadia (played by Mica A. Biving) has been in an abusive marriage for the past ten years. She has everything that she could want. But this lavish life of fancy cars, exotic trips, diamonds,  and furs, comes with a price. Enduring the countless black eyes, outside kids, and being pimped out by her husband, she starts to question whether the exchange is really worth it.  Is the material world her husband provides more important than her life?

Jai (played by Alphonso Settles) is charming, controlling, and manipulative. He uses his power and money to control and mistreat every woman in his life. He sees women as nothing more than trophies, used to boost his ego. That is until he meets the beautiful and sexy Yazmin.

Written and produced by Lisa Brown, directed by Kamal Smith, “He Played Me” stars Alphonso Settles, Shelby Leigh, Kameel Diezel Hausun, Aqeel Ash-Shakoor, Latoya Page, Mica Bivings, Meechie F. Baby,  with Aria Moody, 7 Mile Shug, Percules, Devin Banks, Phil No Chill Darrett King, and Shawtez Prince.
